Today, I successfully got a photo of my son with a *genuine* smile on his face. Not a goofy look, or fake smile. Not a photo-bomb.
A real smile. And he cooperated with me (even if only for 2 minutes). I consider that a win.
The only white snowflakes around here are these crocheted ones I have that Great-Grandma made. I hang them up every winter

Not much of a party happening here. One kid is sick. One is just getting over a cold. I'm exhausted and I'm not sure why.

Took the kids on a hike up N. Table Mtn. It's was damn windy. And cold. They weren't having it. But I was at least able to capture this moment on top of the mesa. She's waving to her brother. Or maybe telling him halt - don't go any further!
It's funny sometimes how freezing time and motion can turn out.
